One of the funniest things I like to observe when I'm playing Video Poker at casinos, is the video poker player who hops from machine to machine usually putting in $20 at a time, and trying to avoid or determine which machine is "hot" or "cold"

Why Play Video Poker?
This is a question I'm asked often - why bother playing Video poker? Casinos have numerous types of gaming available to play - From slot machines to table games - there are literally thousands of variations of games to play.
When it boils down to it, Video Poker is a game that offers some of the best jackpots and best returns, with numerous variations of games to play. Essentially what this means is that Video Poker offers the "excitement" of gambling while presenting some of the best odds of beating "the house."

My Intentions
Welcome to my Video Poker diary blog. On this blog, I plan to write an ongoing diary of my ups and downs playing the Video Poker gane - Jacks or Better. I am in no way a professional player, but I aspire to play at their level of perfection.
My blog will cover interesting hands, thoughts on gambling and people who visit casinos, and just overall anything that I feel is interesting or related to Video Poker.
I must state, that since I am in no way a professional - do not take any of my advice or analysis to heart and I have no responsibility whatsoever for you following or not following any of my advice or information. If you lose money following what I say - consider yourself warned! I will do my best to verify that my analysis is correct, but in the case that it is not, please let me know!
I will mostly be covering trips to my local casinos (Pechanga) and the occasional trip out to Vegas to play at my preferred spot The California Casino, in Downtown LV.
My plan is to try to update at least once a week or so with interesting hands or stories. When I go on a trip, I will try to update every day I am there on the trip. I hope you enjoy reading my boring stuff ^^
